Testimony of Florine Herlin, collaborator at Damartex, sponsor of the project*.

  • What is the association you sponsor? How do you know it?

I have been sponsoring Cravate Solidaire for 1 year now, and more precisely the Lille branch. The association is present in 13 cities in France! I knew the association on LinkedIn, through the sharing of a partnership with another textile company in the North.

I first became interested in it as an Image and HR volunteer.

  • Why do you support the association?

La Cravate fights against discrimination in hiring and helps people in reintegration to find a job, taking up the well-known expression that "the clothes don't make the man, but they contribute to it". Having carried out part of my professional experience in the field of Human Resources and the other in Fashion, it is a mission that brings together two important components of my career. It is quite natural that I wanted to get involved, this time through the Foundation!

  • In a few words, how does the Foundation help the association?

As France is the European Union country with the lowest rate of employment of older people, it seemed natural to me that the Foundation should help older people to return to work! It therefore finances the support of 80 jobseekers over 55 years of age during the "Coup de pouce" workshops.

  • If you could describe your experience with the association in one or two sentences ...

Bringing the non-profit world into the workplace is an opportunity to give even more meaning to one's job. I am delighted to be working with the Foundation and I hope that there will be many more collections and projects for us!

*(The association is sponsored by Florine Herlin but also by Patricia Da Silva)
