The On Seniors' Side Foundation supports associations that serve isolated seniors. This is why it financed the association Focus 4 Hope. The aim of this project was to give homeless and vulnerable elderly people a special moment during the Christmas holidays.
Focus 4 Hope is an English charity that helps homeless, elderly, isolated and vulnerable people in West Yorkshire. The Focus 4 Hope team works on several services such as the donation of hygiene products and food for the homeless, help with re-housing, etc.
Patricia Smith, a Damart UK employee, was touched by the work and community of Focus 4 Hope. She became aware of this association through a call for help on a local community page on social networks and naturally proposed to the Foundation to help Focus 4 Hope for the Christmas holidays. She became a sponsor of the association, mobilised members of the Damart marketing team and together they donated fabulous gifts to be distributed at the annual Christmas party.
"There were some beautiful smiles on the faces of the seniors this Christmas! I am absolutely thrilled that the OSS Foundation is supporting Focus 4 Hope. I'm even more thrilled that we were able to help a little more by giving great gifts. A big thank you to the marketing team who worked with me to make this happen."
The Foundation is proud to see its employees active in supporting associations. The action was a success with the beneficiaries and that is why the project with Focus 4 Hope will be renewed soon.
