Age-Free Cycling offers bike rides on a three-wheeled bicycle to dependent people. Volunteers take the time to make seniors feel the wind in their hair through a bike ride.
Project supported: The right to wind in your hair
The project aims to offer dependent elderly people bicycle outings in the open air and in complete safety. These rides are organized in partnership with retirement homes or EHPAD. They take place on an electrically assisted scooter driven by volunteers and are an opportunity for intergenerational contacts within a common territory, as well as an opportunity to share moments of conviviality and exchange. The foundation financed the purchase of the first scooter necessary for the creation of the association's Lille branch. The residents of several homes in Lille and the metropolitan area benefit from this first scooter.
