The association : Ensemble 2 Generations has created a concept that provides free or low-cost accommodation for students in exchange for presence or services in the home of the elderly.
Project supported: Opening of an intergenerational roommate agency
The creation of this new agency will allow the provision of free or low-cost housing for students in exchange for presence or services rendered in the homes of seniors in the city of Vannes. This responds to three major issues:
- To allow our seniors to remain in their homes as long as possible thanks to the presence of a student,
- To help students in difficulty to benefit from free housing in exchange for services and presence,
- Relieve family caregivers because they know their parents are safe.
The Foundation helped finance the opening of this agency.
